Biography

Norvin is a Chinese Australian Film Composer, Orchestrator primarily based in LA. He has a very diverse musical style from Film music, Concert/Chamber music, to Pop, EDM and Jazz.

Norvin began his music studies from a very young age, he started piano when he was 3, and started studying composition when he was 8. Later on he went the middle school of the Central Conservatory of Music, which is known as the top No. 1 music school in China, studying music composition and recording/mixing. And he went to Berklee College of music & Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University for undergrad in Music composition, and just graduated from USC Screen Scoring Program 2020.

Norvin working as a freelance composer mainly doing orchestration, music prep & additional music writing for film since 2014. Recent participated film included ShuZhen 淑贞 (orchestrator, head of music prep), The lost astronaut (as composer assistant), Headline (orchestrator & additional music writer) etc.

Besides of film music, Norvin also working as a EDM producer (aka. FrogMonster), his recent VV on NetEase just hit 100M.
